A new model Sunreef 92′ Sailing Catamaran has been presented in Gdansk, Poland, by Sunreef Yachts, a luxury boatbuilder.
Sunreef Yachts is working on extending its range. Length of units start at 60 feet and go up to 150 or more (the first designs of 170′ and 200 footer are being made).
On 1-2 September 2007 the National Youth Sailing Championships will take place on the Cayman Islands. Scotiabank has signed as the title sponsor of the event. The Cayman Islands Sailing Club will determinate its best young sailors.
Races will be sailed in Lasers, Bytes, Fevas, Picos and Optimists.
The regatta will not only determinate the Cayman Islands’ entry into the World Youth Sailing Championships but it’s also a part of the “Sail the World Celebration”, a global initiative whereby each country organises a sailing event to celebrate the centenary of the International Sailing Federation, the sport’s world governing body.
