Most people put on three layers while going snowboarding, skiing or other winter sports: undergarments, a top and pants, then outerwear. You need to make sure your clothes retain body heat, otherwise you’ll be shaking at the top of the mountain with the blowing wind.
What to wear then? Forget about pure cotton. Try rather silk, wool or blends if you want natural fabrics. However, high-tech fabrics such as polyester and synthetics woven seem to be much better solution.

The crucial thing is special mountain biking shorts. Wearing ordinary shorts will make you feel uncomfortable and will cause problems later on.
Although mountain biking is similar to regular biking, the adventurous aspect makes it more intense (it’s even called extreme sport). Comfortable and breathable clothing is important in every kind of biking but becomes a priority when it comes to mountain biking.

Good news for extreme sports fans, iTunes have announced that they will release Studio411 extreme sport content on the iTunes store. The content will be updated regularly with new shows and episodes which will cost around £1.
There will be four shows available
1) ‘Nitro Circus – The Series’ – This will follow Travis Pastrana who specialises in motocross and will feature him performing stunts
2) ‘411VM Skateboarding’ – This will be footage of some of the top skateboarders in action at competitions
Extreme Sports fans will be pleased to hear that it has just been announced that the Nissan Outdoor Games will be back again this year. The games will be held in Interlaken, Switzerland from the 28th June -1st July and will consist of competitions for kayaking, mountain biking, paragliding, base jumping and climbing.
