Water Polo Success
Children from Rhondda Cynon Taff’s mini water polo team got the first success in playing outside of Wales. The young players won every single match they played in Torbay, Devon.
The team consists of Bradley Collins, Jude Owen, Megan Keywood, Ellen Goodfield, Adam Morris, Sean Williams, Ellie Davies, Shannon Griffiths, Ryan Jones, Thomas Williams, Nia Rees, Brandon Bull, Jacob Edwards and Calen Bradley.
The success is even bigger taking into consideration that the team has only played for six months. Ryan Jones from RCT Dragons was also the top goal scorer of the tournament.
Mini water polo consists of scoring goals by throwing a ball into the opponents’ net.
The team was created after attending free swimming sessions organized by Welsh Assembly Government.
