Some people, who are afraid of heights, can try other activities in Wales. Tudor Rees is one of them. He works for Call Of The Wild Ltd. offering extreme sports. He tried most things the company offers but says abseiling is definitively the worst of them.

There is so much to do in Wales. Apart from stag and hen dos, more and more companies book team building events for their employees there. One of the most popular activities is the inland version of coasteering, canyoning. Hills near Neath is the best place to go. First you yomp up a rugged valley, then you come down the quick way, jumping from the side into deep river pools.

The Ski Club of Great Britain organizes a ski bursary scheme for all secondary schools across the UK. The bursary of £500 will be awarded to six schools allowing the students to try skiing and snowboarding.
The bursary was set up after death of Ski Club member Thomas Lang. He left the Club a sum of money to be used to involve more young people in skiing. The schools can use the money in a variety of ways: they can fund a ski trip to the whole class or to deserved children only.
Most of the winter sports fans started preparing their equipment for the coming season. But they should not forget about exercising their bodies to prevent injuries.
Legs, buttocks and the core are the muscles mostly used in snowboarding and skiing. Winter sport fans need strength and endurance to the muscles as they spend most of the time going downhill in a tucked position. The best exercises to train these muscles are squats and wall sits.
