The Weirdest Sports In The World
There are activities that are less popular than the others. There are also ones unknown by some people even though very popular in some places. The sports presented below are the ones which rules and equipment stand far away from the conventional activities.
1. Man V. S. Horse Marathon.
It’s got nothing in common with strength. It requires stamina and agility. The yearly event takes place in Welsh town of Llanwrtyd Wells and puts human against horse.
2. Wife Carrying.
First took place in Finland. The activity is about racing through a special obstacle course while carrying a female teammate. The competition usually takes place in Sonkajarvi, Finland, Monona, Wisconsin and in Marquette, Michigan.
3. Bog Snorkelling Championships.
Take place every August Bank Holiday in Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales. The competition is about swimming in a water-filled trench cut through a peat bog. Competitors wear snorkels and flippers but they can’t use traditional swimming techniques.
