Extreme Summer Weekend
July 11 - 13 is going to be the third Skegness Kite and X-Fest 2008. The event will be full of extreme sports demonstrations, competitions, workshops and live music. Everyone will something interesting, as Jade Corssen, the event organizer, says. “It’s a little glimpse of what Skegness could be and the opportunities available through our academy for all young people in the area with a dream to aim higher to be part of a world class event.”
The main this year attraction will be horse stunt riders of Independent Horse. It will launch the UK’s first horse-surfing competition. Only France has hosted this event before and now the riders want to make it the European tour for the contest.
Amongst activities there will be powerkiting, beach aerobics, climbing, a bungee run and much more. Also lantern beach chill out session, fashion show and music festival with local bands and singers.
The X-Site skate park is the place of the events.
