A lot has been said about rollerblading and how good it is for keeping fit. This energizing activity helps quickly burn calories and can be done all the year round. But especially now, in spring, when days are long, sunny and warm, it’s great time to put rollerblades on.

Manufacturers of the rollerblades have just introduced two new models perfect for fitness: The Crossfire 8.0™ for men and the Activa 8.0™ for women.

The new models are smoother and more powerful. They’ve got three 100mm wheels combined with one 90mm wheel under the ball of the foot. That lowers the level of gravity, giving more speed and security at the same time. Both skates’ frames have been built from lightweight Alu-Tech aluminum. They also feature the Total Fit SystemTM speed closure system.

The Crossfire 8.0™ features a very efficient energy transfer. This model has a thinner heel base and a higher cuff to accommodate men’s calf muscles and three to four mm lower instep.

The Activa 8.0™ perfectly fits the contours of women’s feet. It’s got a low centre of gravity and an instep three to four mm higher to accommodate women’s calf muscles (which are longer than a men’s).
