Kite Surfing Event

Westward Ho! is hosting kite surfing and buggying event this weekend. This is said to be one of the best locations for wind and waves. The British Kite Surfing Association Wavemasters Competition comes for this three-day event, from Friday, 25 to Sunday, 27. A part of the beach will be closed for the competition.
“Safety is a high priority, which is why some parts of the beach will have to be cordoned off. But members of the public will still have access to the sea and be able to walk all the way along the sand. Spectators are more than welcome to watch this exciting up-and-coming sporting event.” James Jarroudi, Torridge District Council officer, said.
