How About Spring Skiing?

All skiing fans don’t need to worry about the change of the season. Many of the U. S. resorts offer skiing until almost the end of April. It is possible because of the good level of snow in some parts of the country.

Aspen Highlands in Colorado announced the extended season and skiing will be possible there until the April 27.

Purgatory at Durango Mountain, still in Colorado, is going to close April 6 (instead of March 30), Monarch is closing April 13 and Wolf Creek - April 27.

The snowfall this year was 125% of its average.

Some resorts (i.e. Spring Stay & Ski in Utah) offer very good deals - if you book two nights, you get the third one free. You can also ski there for free.

New Mexico is offering snowboarding for the first time ever. March 19 was the day when the first snowboarders took the slopes. Taos Ski Valley is going to be open until April 6.
