When it comes to sport equipment, there is always something new that comes. And it is not different for winter sports.
Because snowboard gets on popularity, ski designers have showed us Freeskis. They are shorter, have rounded front and rear tips so now it is possible to do the same tips and jumps as snowboarders.
What’s more, new boots attachments have been invented. Because ski boots are quite stiff, it’s now easier to walk with the new “kind of moon shape and […] rubber soles that gives a better grip”.
But those who find ski boots too stiff even with the new attachments, can now find completely new design with softer materials for comfort. Some makes have even a ski-walk switch to make it easier to walk.
There is also something new for snowboarding fans. A dampening system has been added to reduce vibration while braking. A rubber-based component has been added to the middle of the board. The system also provides a smoother ride on the hard snow.
When it comes to clothes, not many changes have been made yet. There are two styles on the slopes: some like oversized pants and jackets whereas the others go rather for something really tight. Trying girls’ pants is an option is you think yours are not tight enough.
You should be very careful with your hands in winter days. To keep them warm you can wear gloves or mittens. They are making a big comeback, apparently.
And, at last, sunglasses. They are extremely popular on the slopes. Fashion plays an important role here but obviously they give you a great sun protection.
