Inline Hockey Tournament, Easter 2008

Zach Dolphin, 11, and Jack Townsend, 12 are two, amongst other 14 selected, boys from Swindon chosen by GB Hockey Inline for the 12 years and under to represent Breat Britain in an international tournament in the south of France.

The event will take place between 22nd and 24th March in Montpellier.

Both boys are members of the Great Britain academy training squad. Zach Dolphin is a pupil at Greendown School. He has been playing roller hockey for three years and is a netminder.

Exterme Golf Courses

Have you ever thought of golf as of an extreme sport? Probably not… It seems to be pretty predictable. You hit the ball; if it goes to the hole - great, otherwise - you have another go… The one with the lowest number of hits to finish the course is the winner.

The Sport Relief Mile

The Sport Relief has got a new challenge: Alan Shearer and Adrian Chiles will try to cycle 335 miles from Newcastle to London. They are hoping to do this in just two days!

Shearer and Chiles are starting their adventure on 13th March at St James’ Park and are expecting to reach into BBC Television Centre in London on the next day as part of the live Sport Relief show.

A Fractional Sailing

If you’d like to do sailing on a beautiful boat but the cost of the yacht and its maintenance is too high for you, a Fractional Sailing is just for you. It’s about sharing the boat with the owner and a few more people. The only thing you need to do is to pay a part of the cost of the yacht.

Aquasail, based in Mumbai, will be soon launching the service.

Extreme Inventions

The year 1995 was the one where X Games took place for the first time. Two years later, the Winter X Games brought snowboarding to the Olympic Games.

Today extreme sports are more and more popular.

Skateboard injuries may be really serious but if a child is properly protected and knows at least the basics of this sport, he/she can enjoy the hobby without a hospital stay.

Keeping Fit For The Over 50s

If you want to keep fit and you’re 50 or more, this might be just for you! Extend is a new fitness class in Worcester. The class is for all those who want to stay healthy and improve their lives.

Extend has been created with people in their 50s in mind who don’t want to attend gym. The classes will take place at the City Centre Community Centre on Mondays from 2 pm to 3.3 pm.
