Winter Kiting is one of them. It’s a young sport, a result of a mariage between windsurfing and skiing. You’ll need a kite and skis, snowboards or sleds. Probably the best place to catch wild currents is Arctic icecaps where winter kiters are pulled up high mountains, and perform high-flying acrobatics not possible on skies or snowboards alone.

Paragliding lies between parachuting and hang gilding. All you have to do is to jump from a high point and then soar through the air on thermals. Unlike parachuting, it doesn’t involve jumping out of a plane. In paragliding you can steer, brake and increase speed.
If you’re a beginner, you won’t be left alone. You’ll share your first flight with an instructor as a tandem.

Canyoneering is another extreme activity for all seeking new exciting activities. It’s quite like rock climbing but the goal is to travel down and through a canyon, not just up. You use technical equipment like ropes and carabineers and, of course, your own finesse. It all depends on the canyon you’re in: you can rappel down by rope, slide down waterfalls, wriggle your way through narrow rock spaces, and jump off cliffs into pools of water. Water fans can choose wet canyoneering but dry option is also available.
