Skateboarding Is Cool
Some skateboarders don’t think skateboarding is a dangerous sport. Liam, 12, loves it and can’t undertand why some children are scared to learn it. He admits it is quite difficult to learn but when you can do it properly, it gives you a lot of joy.
Liam says he found skateboarding hard at the beginning. Once, he even broke his collarbone. As he says, he did tkink about stopping, he just liked it too much! Besides, injuries are quite common with this sport.
One of the reasons Liam likes it so uch is that because he gets to hang around with his mates.
“I think everyone should have a go at skateboarding. If you fall, my advice is to pick yourself up and give it another try!” Liam says.
All you need is a skateboard and some protection. You can do skateboarding almost anytime and anywhere. You can do it on your own or in a group. All depends on you!
