Foster’s ASP World Tour Surfing Competition
This weekend sees the start of the ASP World Tour Surfing Competitions which continue until the 11th March. The competition sees contenders traveling all around the world to the best surfing destinations in Australia, Brazil, Spain and Hawaii.
The action starts on Saturday night with all the contenders attending the Foster’s ASP World Championship Crowning Banquet and after that, the competition begins.
The competition is split into two categories, the Foster’s Asp World Tour for the men, and the ASP Women’s World Tour for the women.
The competition has one new aspect to it this year, the judges will be able to be even more precise in their scoring due to the fact that there will be an instant replay system in place this year.
There are also 14 new contenders this year representing a variety of nationalities from Australia, South Africa, America, France and Brazil
